Alta White – How Can it Help You?

Well, since you’re here you’ve probably already hear of Alta White, a teeth whitening system. However, what you’re probably wanting to know is how well works and whether or not it will work for you.

Well, on the surface, teeth whitening seems fairly straightforward. Kinda like bleaching your clothes white again! Of course, teeth whitening is never that simple, as there are many reasons as to why your teeth may not be as white as you’d like. Commonly, people find that their teeth have become less white over time due to staining (from food, coffee, cigarettes etc.), but other people have teeth which are less “naturally” white.

My Own Alta White Story

Personally, I’m in the second category. I NEVER had white teeth… my teeth always looked horrible and yellow (and I was really ashamed of them). I had tried a teeth whitening program prescribed by my dentist years ago, when I was in my late teens, but that didn’t seem to do much. I was at the stage where I thought I’d need veneers to have nice teeth, because I considered my teeth “unwhitenable” (yeah, that’s not a word… but I think it makes the point clear )

Having a look at my kids’ teeth I can see the same thing. Well, in one of them! My oldest child has very “yellow” looking teeth, while my other kids have naturally whiter teeth. I have always told my kids to clean my teeth, and my oldest son wasn’t cleaning his well (which had nothing to do with the yellow color, I might add) and I explained to him that he was getting tartar and that’s why he needed to clean better. Well one day he said to me, “But Mom, your teeth are dirty too!” I was horrified. I have extremely clean teeth (I am in my late 30s and have never had so much as a single cavity), and when I pointed this out he said, “Yeah, but your teeth are yellow”. Yup, I know that.

Well, it was then that I tried Alta White. I was at my wit’s end and just didn’t have the money for veneers, and I was tired of being ashamed of my teeth, which as I explained, I look after really, really well.

How Well Did Alta White Work For Me?

Now, I honestly didn’t have very high expectations of Alta White (I have tried other brands of teeth whiteners over the years), but I thought maybe I’d get a couple of shades of difference, and maybe my teeth wouldn’t look sooo bad. I really didn’t expect much difference. However, I was surprised, and pleasantly so!

Now, I have to make this clear… I do NOT have bright, white teeth. I honestly DO believe that my teeth will never get that “movie star” look without veneers, simply because my teeth were just too yellow naturally. However, my teeth really have changed by several shades, and I think that compared to other “average” folks out there, my teeth no longer look that bad (yeah, I’m not going to be a tooth model anytime, but I’m not really fussed about that).

So, I guess what I can say here is that Alta White DOES work, and is an effective tooth whitening treatment. But I do not believe that it will change the color of very discolored teeth to an absolute perfect white. Some teeth just aren’t naturally white enough for that! However, if you are embarrassed about the appearance of your teeth, or you only need your teeth whitened by a few shades, then I really do recommend it! Alta White really CAN improve your appearance!
